During this year, training was provided to the ARN team, and the definition of operational and technical requirements for a smooth transition, .PT will continue to provide support whenever necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cooperation between the .PT and the ARN, the entity responsible for the coordination, supervision and planning of the information and communication technology sector in Guinea-Bissau, was formalized in 2014 after the ARN obtained the redelegation of the top-level domain .gw with IANA (<em>Internet Assigned Numbers Authority<\/em>), with the support of the portuguese&nbsp;<em>registry<\/em>&nbsp;. As of this date, the .PT started to guarantee the technical and administrative management of the .gw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the cooperation agreement signed between the two entities also foreseen that .PT would be responsible for the acquisition and monitoring of the installation and operation of the secondary server to be housed in the&nbsp;<em>data center<\/em>&nbsp;of the ARN, as well as for the development, implementation and maintenance of the .gw registration support website:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nic.gw.\/\">www.nic.gw.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recorde-se que o .PT assume atualmente a presid\u00eancia da&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lusnic.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LusNIC<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Registries de L\u00edngua Portuguesa, criada em 2015, &nbsp;com o objetivo de promover a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o internacional na defesa dos interesses dos ccTLD\u2019s de l\u00edngua portuguesa e de projetar a l\u00edngua e os conte\u00fados portugueses na Internet, fomentando a partilha de conhecimento nas suas \u00e1reas de interven\u00e7\u00e3o, e desenvolvendo contactos e iniciativas de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre as entidades respons\u00e1veis pela gest\u00e3o dos dom\u00ednios de topo lus\u00f3fonos.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O .PT anuncia a transfer\u00eancia da gest\u00e3o do dom\u00ednio de topo da Guin\u00e9-Bissau (.gw) para a Autoridade Reguladora Nacional (ARN) daquele pa\u00eds, ap\u00f3s um per\u00edodo de sete anos de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o e suporte do .PT \u00e0 gest\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica e administrativa do .gw.
