Mozambique hosted the first session of LusNIC's new digital training project, marking the beginning of an ambitious initiative that will run until March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The in-person training session took place at the INCM \u2013 Communications Regulatory Authority, in Maputo, and brought together representatives from the African country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registries that are members of LusNIC: Angola (.ao), Cape Verde (.cv), Guinea-Bissau (.gw), Mozambique (.mz) and S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe (.st).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic partnership with ICANN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project is developed in partnership with Coalition for Digital Africa (CDA)<\/a> from ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers)<\/a> and its main objective is to strengthen the technical, legal and operational skills of the registries of Portuguese-speaking African countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
