Professor Lourino Chemane, President of the Board of Directors of INTIC, IP – National Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, represented Mozambique at a historic meeting where the UN Convention against Cybercrime was approved, a global milestone in the fight against cybercrime.
After five years of negotiations, the UN General Assembly approved, on December 24, the Convention that establishes new bases for international cooperation in the fight against cybercrime.
Lusophony in the spotlight: Representatives from Brazil, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe participated in the final sessions, which included debates on issues such as data access and digital security.
