LusNIC was present at the 1st Internet Governance Forum in Angola, where the following topics were highlighted: the importance of the internet in modern society and the promotion of responsible and inclusive use of the internet; the regulation and cooperation in internet's governance; digital marketing strategies; and the internet and communication infrastructures in Angola.

LusNIC participated in the panel with the theme “The importance of the Internet in modern Society, and the promotion of responsible and inclusive use of the Internet”, which featured interventions by Marta Moreira Dias, President ofLusNIC, André Pedro, General Director of theINFOSI – Instituto Nacional de Fomento da Sociedade de Informaçãoof Angola, Leonilde dos Santos, President of the Board of Directors ofARME – Agência Reguladora Multissectorial da Economiaof Cape Verde, and Lourino Chamane, President of the Board of Directors ofINTIC, IP – Instituto Nacional de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicaçãofrom Mozambique.
