Public consultation open for defining the topics of the 4th Lusophone IGF.

It is open to Public Consultation to define the work themes of the Lusophone IGF for 2026. The Portuguese-Speaking Internet Governance Forum (IGF Lusófono) invites all stakeholders from the technical sector, civil society, the private sector, government, academia, and, in general, all actors in the Internet ecosystem in Portuguese-speaking countries to contribute to identifying priority topics for discussion.

The public consultation is taking place until April 15th and its objective is to gather contributions that will help define the most relevant topics for reflection and discussion within the scope of the next edition of the Forum.

In the form provided for this purpose, participants will find a list of previously identified topics, and may select up to three options considered priorities. An open field is also available for the submission of suggestions for new topics that may be relevant to the different sectors, to the various participating countries, or to the Portuguese-speaking community more broadly.

With this initiative, the Lusophone IGF aims to reinforce its participatory and multi-sectoral character, promoting a work agenda built on the contributions of the community and aligned with the main challenges and opportunities of Internet governance in the Lusophone space.

The participation of all stakeholders is essential to ensure that the 4th Lusophone IGF reflect the priorities, concerns, and perspectives of the various actors that make up the digital ecosystem of Portuguese-speaking countries.
