The 3rd Lusophone Internet Governance Forum (FLGI) took place in Maputo on 22nd and 23rd September, organized by LusNIC in conjunction with the .PT, ANACOM – Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações, CIG.br, NIC.br, Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), INTIC, IP – Instituto Nacional de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação and ARME – Agência Reguladora Multissectorial da Economia.
LusNIC was present at the Opening Table and at the panel “Cybersecurity, Data Protection and Cybercrimes: Good Practices and Cooperation between Portuguese-speaking Countries”.
The meeting brought together representatives from across the Lusophone world and culminated in the approval of the Maputo Charter, which reinforces digital inclusion, linguistic diversity, cybersecurity, and digital identity as priorities for the digital future.
