Mozambique hosted the first session of LusNIC's new digital training project, marking the beginning of an ambitious initiative that will run until March 2026.
The in-person training session took place at the INCM – Communications Regulatory Authority, in Maputo, and brought together representatives from the African country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registries that are members of LusNIC: Angola (.ao), Cape Verde (.cv), Guinea-Bissau (.gw), Mozambique (.mz) and São Tomé and Príncipe (.st).
Strategic partnership with ICANN
The project is developed in partnership with Coalition for Digital Africa (CDA) from ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and its main objective is to strengthen the technical, legal and operational skills of the registries of Portuguese-speaking African countries.
