On November 26th, LusNIC held an online training session for African ccTLDs that are members of the association, as part of a capacity-building project developed in partnership with the Coalition for Digital Africa (CDA) of ICANN.
This session continued the program that began in person on September 24 in Maputo, Mozambique, and preceded the next in-person meeting, which took place on December 11 in Accra, Ghana.
With a strong practical component, the training focused on the Operational Management of a ccTLD, with a special focus on partnerships with Registrars and Clients. Throughout the day, participants shared experiences, analyzed concrete cases, and discussed best practices adapted to the different operational contexts of African ccTLDs.
This initiative reinforced LusNIC's role as a collaboration and capacity-building platform in the Portuguese-speaking world, contributing to the strengthening of the technical and institutional skills of its members.
