LusNIC integrated the organization of the 1st Lusophone Internet Governance Forum, together with .PT, CIG.br, NiC.br, INTIC and ARME.
This was the first initiative within the scope of the Internet Governance Forum that brought together countries linked by language, beyond geographic limits. Everyone, on an equal position, involved in the dialogue about a Portuguese-speaking Internet.
The event took place on the 18th and 19th of September in São Paulo, at the Portuguese Language Museum and at the NIC.br headquarters, and online.
