On September 22nd and 23rd, the event will take place in Mozambique (with online participation as well). 3rd Lusophone Internet Governance Forum, a joint initiative by LusNIC, .PT, ANACOM, CIG.br, NIC.br, FCT, INTIC and ARME, which brings together representatives from across the Lusophone world to discuss the digital future of Portuguese-speaking countries.
In this edition, the main topics highlighted will be:
- Access, Inclusion and Diversity in Digital Lusophony
- Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development in Lusophony
- Secure and Reliable Digital Infrastructures
- Digital Economy, Innovation and Collaborative Governance
The day after the Lusophone Internet Governance Forum, the LusNIC, in partnership with Coalition for Digital Africa (CDA) from ICANN, promotes a face-to-face training session aimed at African ccTLDs that are members of LusNIC (.ao, .cv, .gw, .mz and .st), as part of a new digital training project which runs until March 2026.
This training marks the practical launch of the project, which also includes online sessions, personalized business plans, and reference materials in Portuguese, with the aim of strengthening the technical, legal, and operational skills of Portuguese-speaking African registries.
